Rubbermat at the 31st Technical Conference – Caucho Sost 2025

On March 12th and 13th, Barcelona hosted the 31st edition of the Technical Conferences organised by the Spanish Rubber Consortium -one of the most important events in the national rubber industry calendar. For this edition, Rubbermat participated both as a sponsor and attendee of the Caucho Sost 2025 conference cycle, a key initiative driving innovation and sustainability in the rubber sector.

Caucho Sost 2025: Highlights from the 31st Technical Conference

The event was a clear reflection of the dinamism and vitality currently present in the rubber industry, bringing together experts, manufacturers, and technology centres with a shared mission: sustainability. The central theme focused on the challenges facing the sector and the development of more efficient, versatile rubber through sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.

At Rubbermat, we were proud to contribute to the cause by sponsoring this initiative. We believe it is essential to collaborate with organisations like the Rubber Consortium to promote responsible sector development and implement new trends throughout all stages of rubber manufacturing and moulding.

One of the most pressing topics discussed was the controversial EU Deforestation Regulation, which directly impacts the rubber industry. Under this law, companies must ensure that any rubber products placed on the EU market have not contributed to deforestation. Although the regulation was initially set to come into force in December 2024, concerns raised by producing countries have led to its implementation being delayed to December 30th, 2025.

Commitment to quality, innovation and collaboration

As specialists in technical solutions, we firmly believe in the importance of sharing knowledge among industry professionals and, above all, supporting spaces that help shape the future of technical rubber -such as the Caucho Sost 2025.

At Rubbermat, we will continue to actively support initiatives like this that help us design and manufacture more sustainable and efficient machinery for the rubber sector.
